Musee Girouxville Museum
This is an early model of a snowmobile. It was purchased in 1960 by Father Jean Paul Vantroys. Manufactured in Vermont, it is the Canadian version of the Snow Rider. It weighs 1200 pounds, is 12 feet long, and travels at a top speed of 15 miles per hour. The metal seat was covered with bear fur, to keep the riders comfortable.
