Peace River Museum, Archives and Mackenzie Centre
The province of Alberta celebrated its 75th anniversary in 1980. Celebrations were held across the province, and provincial money was made available for community celebrations and paraphernalia. This is one of the pins that the province produced to commemorate the anniversary. Peace River and several other communities held ‘Homecomings’ welcoming back past residents to the area.
